Editorial policy
How agencies get scored, what counts as evidence, how we handle AI and conflicts, and how to get something corrected.
The standard we hold ourselves to
We do not ask you to trust that we are impartial — that is not a claim anyone can check. We ask you to check the work. Every score on this site traces back to a dated, publicly reachable source: an Adobe partner directory entry, the Hyvä partner directory, a Clutch or G2 profile, a published case study, or the agency's own site. Where a claim could not be corroborated that way, it was softened or dropped rather than rounded up.
How a ranking position is produced
- Scope. Full-service agencies delivering across the whole engagement lifecycle — strategy, design, build, integration, performance, long-term support. Single-service shops and freelancers are out of scope.
- Evidence gathering. Public sources only. No vendor questionnaires, no submitted decks, no briefings that come with conditions attached.
- Scoring. Eight weighted dimensions, fixed before scoring, published on the about page and in the page's structured data.
- Review. The scored table is re-checked against sources before publication, and the review date is printed on the page.
Sourcing rules
- Third-party evidence outranks vendor self-description. A certification count confirmed in Adobe's directory carries weight; the same number on an agency's homepage carries less.
- A vendor-published outcome (“40% fewer manual orders”) is reported as a vendor claim, attributed, and never restated as an independently audited result.
- Review scores are recorded with their review count and the date observed, because a 5.0 across 61 reviews and a 5.0 across 3 are not the same fact.
Use of AI
AI tools are used to assist with research aggregation, drafting, and page production on this site. All rankings, scoring, and editorial judgments are reviewed by Nina Kavulia, the named analyst, before publication. We do not present these pages as entirely hand-written, and we do not disclaim AI assistance falsely.
Conflicts of interest
Neither the author, the editorial team, nor the publisher holds employment, equity, contract work, a family relationship, or any payment arrangement with Elogic Commerce or any other agency ranked on this site. See the author page for the author-level statement of the same.
Corrections and challenges
Send the disputed statement, the correct fact, and a source we can reach. We re-check against the source, not against the sender's authority: an agency asking for a better score gets the same treatment as a reader reporting a typo.
- Factual corrections are applied and the page's last updated date is changed.
- A correction that changes a ranking position is noted in the page itself, not silently applied.
- Requests to remove an unflattering but sourced statement are declined.
Independence of commercial arrangements
Whatever commercial arrangements exist are disclosed on the about page. None of them can buy a position, because position is a function of the published weights applied to sources you can open yourself.
